The HYPER SPEED™ 5 shoe is designed for quicker training and racing. This version includes a lightweight upper material that's formed with a racing-specific fit.

The shoe's repeat mesh material is lightweight and durable and is designed to help provide a race-ready fit for racing on and off roads.

For the eyelet stay, Asics fine-tuned its construction to improve the overall fit while creating better midfoot lockdown and fit. An improved sockliner is added for underfoot cushioning.

We love the Hyper Speed for not being overbuilt, and for not breaking the bank!  Great for those runners efficient enough to use as a lightweight trainer or those looking for a dedicate race shoe.
