When a shoe has been around for 20+ seasons it usually means it works.  The Ariel is meant to give maximum support to those whose feed demand maximum stability.  Build on a linear last with a thicker than normal insole, the Ariel is designed to fit an orthotic but also fits a foot that needs more width and volume.
